Our 1st Ultrasound!

4/23:

Today I went back for my viability ultrasound. This was to look at two things:
1. Cyst size
2. Location of the sac- to see if it was a tubal pregnancy or a uterine pregnancy.

-Good news, the sac is located in my uterus. So no ectopic pregnancy. This confirms that the source of the pain is from the cyst pushing my uterus and ovaries out of the way.

-The Cyst has gone down in size. It was 3.8cm last time, it's now 2.9cm!! So they were very pleased to see the improvement. The pain is still there, but it's been less frequent, so that has been nice.

-The ultrasound measured me out at 6w 5 days, a little further than they thought. I was now given a 12/15 Due Date. She also saw a heartbeat. They canceled my ultrasound for next week- Dave didn't go today and has to wait another month to hear the heartbeat which he is bummed about, but we're so grateful for the good news today, it's the least of our worries.
