I am so blessed right now. So I apologize for complaining... I'm just in hell. I have been sick for 4 weeks straight. I dread waking up each day, just knowing I'm going to feel like crap.
I puked 6 times yesterday. I was heaving all day and then the vomiting began. I was in such pain I cried myself to sleep. I am miserable. I just want to be able to eat something healthy, to be able to take my prenatal vitamins without throwing them up, to be able to go to sleep without a pukebowl by the bed.
The doc says it should get better by 14 weeks. So 3.5 more weeks to go. The Zofran is not helping. I can't take the ODT pills (dissolve on your mouth) cuz I vomit and heave them out the second I get it on my tongue. If I'm lucky, I get half of it- so it helps for a few hours. After that, I'm sick again. Last night the doc called in the Zofran swallow pills, but my insurance is not approving it till 5/30...so I am fighting that battle today. :(
What makes no sense, is that my body is not keeping solids in yet I am still gaining weight. Not much, but a little. So hopefully that is a good sign. I'm worried about the baby not getting enough nutrients, cuz when I do eat- it's crap food. Cuz that's all I can keep down.
Sorry to vent...this is more or less a place for me to just write this out. I hate being so miserable. I just want to wake up for one day and not feel like I'm going to puke. I want to stop crying b/c my chest is brusied from the dry heaves and vomiting- and I'm in pain.
I am traveling again next week, so I'm worried that is going to be horrible. I'm praying it gets better by Monday.

5/10: Spent all day in the ER
Dave was in North Carolina this week for work. I was with Ry. Well, this am she came to see me in bed, and jumped very hard on the bed, landing directly on my ovaries. All 50+ lbs of her, and right in the worst spot.
It knocked the wind out of me. I couldn't even sit up, it stabbed so bad. My pain was shooting in that area, and it hurt like hell. I though it would go away, so tried to just walk it out. It kept getting worse and started throbbing.
I went to work, but was in tears it was so bad. I called the doc, and the nurse told me to get to the ER right away. Any trauma to your abdomen when you are pregnant, you should be seen immediately. So I told Carie, and she drove me to CDH. Dave was just landing from NC, and was going to come as soon as he could get his luggage, car, and get there.
We get there and I was there all day...7 hours I think. The pain kept getting worse and worse, and it felt like it was throbbing/pulsing as well. I went to give a urine sample and was bleeding, so I immediately had a panic attack. The next hours were a blur..lots of ultrasounds and "not sure" discussions....but in the end, the final ultrasound proved that the baby was fine. Thank goodness!! And he gave me an EDD of 12/12. (lol, every doc gives a different date).
The doc said that the abdominal muscles are strained, which could cause the bleeding I had...and that I'll be strained and bruised (already bruised a nice greenish-yellow-brown :( Now it's just rest rest rest until my body heals. The good news is that the baby is measuring perfect at 9 weeks 1 day, and it's heart rate was 160. Dave was able to see the ultrasound later in the day, and was very giddy.
I'm so lucky that our little football is ok, but still recovering from the scare. It was soooo much- it drained me. I'm mentally drained, and very physically drained. And the only thing I can take is Tylenol...which is not working.
But even still I just feel so darn blessed that everything is ok.

4/30 Update
Went to the doc today to follow-up from last weeks' visit. She was happy with my latest b/w results saying my Progesterone was still very high and my HCG levels were perfect.
The Morning Sickness is horrible though. It's actually worse in the afternoon/evening. Well, it's really 24/7- even hitting me in the middle of the night. I can't eat, I'm nauseous all the time, and throw up a lot. Yet, it doesn't stop me from gaining weight- go figure. But- according to the doc's records I have lost weight, and she's concerned. She put me on Zofran. It's supposed to help the nausea. We'll see. Its a dissolve on the tounge tablet, which makes NO sense to me-- why have a pill that dissolves on your tounge when you are heaving and can't keep anything in your mouth. Oh well, let's hope it works.
I'm praying the next 4-6 weeks go by quickly, so this goes away. Travel was pure hell... I was sick on the plane, which was miserable. I've pushed my May flights to June as best as possible so hopefully it will be better by then!
Other than that, things are going well. Just trying to reduce the morning sickness as much as possible. McDs seems to help a little- lol.
My next appt is on 5/25, right when I get back from Jersey. They will try to hear the heartbeat on Dopplar, and I'll be at 11w2d. They might also check on the cyst at that point too, if it is still causing pain.
