I was traveling this week for work, and at the end of the week, I was in a lot of pain. After talking to the doc, they sent me to L&D (Labor and Delivery). Definitely the worst thing in the world to hear at 24 weeks. I was terrified.
They wanted to hook me up to monitors to make sure I wasn't in labor/having contractions. I was not, and didn't really feel like I was- but they had to do it to play it safe. The baby football is doing great. I am still in a lot of pain, and they gave me an Rx. But right now, there really is not anything we can do. We were there all day Friday, and by the time they discharged me, it was a huge relief.
CDH was a terrific hospital. We were sent to the NeoNatal Unit since I was only 24 weeks. The nurses & doc were fantastic. The rooms are like hotel rooms, and the accomodations were very nice. Even though we were already 80% sure on CDH over Delnor, this sealed the deal. So we will be registering at CDH.
We also got our glider/ottomon in last week. The paint matches the fabric perfectly, so we're not going to repaint. Though I had to give up my bedding I loved, we found one at Pottery Barn Kids on sale that is just as cute- so we're going with that. The price was too hard to walk away from- esp with money being so tight and going to furniture and everything else!
Here's a little hodge podge of photos:
Room with the glider, the crib bedding bumper, the crib bedding bedskirt, and Rylee loving the nursery :)
PS- you can click on any of the photos in the blog to make them bigger.

And more random, look at some of these cakes. (Dave and I somehow got on the topic of cake tonight, and started looking some up) I had to share. YUM (and I don't even like cake that much, lol). Are these not the cutest?! (and the one in the bottom right is from my friend Meghan's shower, her mom MADE that!!)
